Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Jobs - Contract in Middle Township, New Jersey
Experienced ER Registered Nurse needed for a 12-week onsite emergency room contract in Middle Township, NJ. Join a fast-paced emergency department team, work night shifts, and provide compassionate, high-acuity patient care near the Jersey Shore.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
- Location: Middle Township, New Jersey 08210
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
- Start Date: 8/5/2026
- Contract Length: 12-week contract
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
- Hours: 36 hours per week
Emergency Room RN Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room RN or Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current and active New Jersey RN license
- Previous EPIC electronic medical record experience required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification
- ATCN or TNCC required
- Flu vaccination required
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a high-acuity emergency room environment
- Assess, triage, prioritize, and respond quickly to emergent and urgent patient needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient flow and quality outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Deliver compassionate patient and family education throughout the course of care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
