• Location: Hood River, OR 97031 (Hood River, Oregon – Columbia River Gorge)
• Assignment Type: Travel – 13-week assignment (travel dialysis job)
• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital / Level III Trauma Center
• Unit: Renal Dialysis (12 stations + 1 isolation station) – ESRD clinic
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (05:00 - 17:30, Mon/Wed/Fri)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1270–$1360/week
• Charting: Epic (experience required) – Epic experience preferred for dialysis tech jobs
• Parking: Free on-site
• Scrub Color: Any color (scrubs provided for certain units)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Dialysis Technician or Hemodialysis Technician
• Active BLS certification
• Oregon Dialysis Technician license (may submit with pending license) – Oregon dialysis license required
• BONENT CHT certification
• Experience with Fresenius 2008T dialysis machines
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system
• Must have a vehicle for assignment
• Ability to provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float to sister facilities if needed

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodialysis treatments for adult and geriatric patients in a 12-station ESRD clinic
• Operate Fresenius 2008T dialysis machines and monitor patient responses as a Dialysis Tech
• Conduct quality control checks, including test strips and glucose meters
• Manage anticoagulation, ultrafiltration calculations, and machine/alarm settings
• Collect blood specimens and laboratory samples as required
• Prime extracorporeal circuits and dialyzers; attach blood and concentrate lines
• Monitor and respond to alarms (arterial/venous pressure, conductivity, etc.)
• Provide post-treatment access care and equipment clean-up
• Educate patients on dialysis procedures and monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain infection control and isolation precautions
• Document all care accurately in Epic and maintain clear charting for ESRD patients
