  • Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:30), rotating weekends — Night shift ICU RN

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (required upon submission)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS — Healthcare Provider level (required)
  • AHA ACLS and TNCC required for ICU/CCU assignments
  • PALS preferred
  • Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required due to CAP requirements)
  • At least 1 year of ICU / critical care nursing experience preferred (ICU travel nurse experience a plus)

Responsibilities / Critical Care Duties

  • Provide direct critical care and continuous monitoring for acutely and critically ill patients as an ICU nurse
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and execute timely interventions for life-threatening conditions
  • Apply advanced clinical knowledge and critical care skills in a fast-paced ICU environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record (EMR) and adhere to hospital policies and protocols
  • Participate in shift handoffs, rounds, and quality/safety initiatives to support high standards of critical care
