RN Job Requirements (Long-Term Care)

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be maintained throughout the assignment)
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities (LTC RN – Evening Shift)

• Provide direct patient/resident nursing care and support day-to-day clinical operations on the unit
• Administer medications safely and accurately, following the “5 Rights” of medication administration
• Complete resident assessments and required documentation in a timely, thorough manner
• Perform wound care and ongoing skin/wound assessments as needed
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate significant changes promptly to providers, physicians, and families
• Support and collaborate with CNAs, including assisting with call lights and resident needs as appropriate
• Serve as a leader on the floor by assessing situations, prioritizing care, and directing workflow when needed
• Maintain accurate resident records with clear, compliant charting
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation per policy to nursing leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resident safety and quality of care
