• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit (10-bed Med/Surg unit)
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) – Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (med/surg patient load)
• On-Site Position: On-site, must live 50+ miles from facility (locals not accepted)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient Med/Surg RN experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Recent Epic EMR experience preferred (within last 6 months)
• Ability to float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed
• Must be available for night shift schedule and meet travel nurse distance requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a 10-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 while delivering safe, patient-centered care
• Use Epic EMR for accurate documentation, medication administration, and patient care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
• Adhere to infection control policies, isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral line care/management, and non-invasive airway support as needed
• Float to other units of equal or lesser acuity when required; support clinical continuity during staffing changes
