• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Greater Cleveland / Northeast Ohio)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Shift: Rotating Days/Nights (3x12-hour shifts per week; 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit (telemetry nurse / cardiac telemetry)
• Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / travel nurse)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (medical-surgical nurse, telemetry nurse, cardiac monitoring)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission (RN license)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in specialty required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (ECG/arrhythmia recognition)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the contract
• Background check and onsite fingerprinting required prior to start
• Must complete required pre-start modules and orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit (medical-surgical and telemetry nursing duties)
• Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient cardiac telemetry, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Provide medication administration, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed in accordance with hospital policy
• Recognize arrhythmias and respond appropriately; collaborate with providers for timely interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, discharge planning, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Participate in unit meetings, orientation, and ongoing training to support continuous professional development

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,250 - $2,370 per week
