Key Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or PET/CT technologist
- Valid California state license for Nuclear Medicine Technologists
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification required
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT and E-CAM Nuclear Medicine systems preferred
- Comfortable floating between outpatient imaging center and hospital
- Familiarity with Mediteach and Epic charting systems preferred
- Two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years
- Available to work 3 of these 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year s Eve, New Year s Day
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including PET/CT, bone scans, thyroid scans, and cardiac stress tests
- Operate and optimize Siemens PET/CT and E-CAM nuclear medicine equipment
- Start and maintain IVs, draw venous blood, and safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Provide high-quality patient care for diverse populations across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, oncologists, and nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in Mediteach and Epic; ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
- Support student training and mentorship when needed
