  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday 10:00am–6:30pm, Friday 9:00am–5:30pm (8-hour shifts)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed; 8 Hour Days)
  • Patient Load: 8–12 patients per day
  • Attire: Polos with black slacks
  • Charting / EMR: Epic (training provided if needed)

Job Requirements

  • Active Michigan State Physical Therapist License (must be active by start date)
  • BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • Proof of high school education (required for all allied candidates)
  • Experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, and sports medicine preferred — new grads welcome
  • Epic charting experience preferred (Epic EMR, outpatient documentation)
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and time management skills
  • Ability to meet outpatient productivity standards and provide high-quality patient-centered care

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment for orthopedic and neurologic conditions, including total joint replacements, sports injuries, vestibular/vertigo disorders, and lymphedema
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and meet charting standards
  • Achieve productivity targets (3.00 units/hour) while delivering evidence-based outpatient physical therapy
  • Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives as needed
