Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 (Travel RN pay)
• Location: Las Vegas, NV 89109 — Las Vegas nursing jobs / Nevada travel nurse
• Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Tower 2, Floor 5
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — PICU night shift (travel RN)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent PICU experience required — pediatric critical care nurse experience
• Active RN license
• PALS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with pediatric critical care
• ECMO experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Nevada travel nurse candidates and compact-license RNs encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a 24-bed PICU
• Monitor and manage patients on ECMO and ventilators — PICU and pediatric critical care duties
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including managers, charge nurses, PCTs, nurse externs, and RRTs
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and paper EMR systems
• Float as needed to Pediatric CICU, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatrics units
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
