Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (NJ RN license)
- At least 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience as a NICU nurse
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and provide consistent night-shift clinical coverage
- Strong neonatal clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced NICU
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based neonatal care to infants in the NICU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform clinical interventions as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and fellow NICU nurses
- Educate and support families with family-centered neonatal care throughout the NICU journey
- Maintain accurate documentation, uphold patient safety standards, and follow NICU protocols
