• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 – $2,480 (competitive pay for travel nursing)

• Shift: 10-hour days

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state (eligible for NJ practice)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience in specialties such as Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, or Pediatric OR is a plus
• CNOR or perioperative certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience
• Assist surgeons and the multidisciplinary surgical team during procedures, including circulating and scrub support as needed
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to physiologic changes during anesthesia and surgery
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, handle surgical instruments and supplies, and participate in surgical counts
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow hospital protocols, and support quality and safety initiatives
• Collaborate with pre-op, PACU, and unit staff to ensure seamless patient transitions and high-quality perioperative care
