Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
- Proficient in OASIS and HCHB (Homecare Homebase) documentation systems
- Active Alabama RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
Home Health Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across Athens, AL and nearby communities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient progress using OASIS and HCHB systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Travel to patient residences within the Athens, Alabama area
