Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab in Seguin, Texas
Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Seguin, TX. Provide high-quality acute care nursing while working a consistent weekday schedule with rotating call in Central Texas.
Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500–$2,630
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment

- End Date: January 31, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with rotating call
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Healthcare Setting: Acute care Cardiac Cath Lab
- Charting System: MEDITECH
- Location: Seguin, Texas
Cardiac Cath Lab RN Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Texas
- At least 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab or closely related critical-care nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work scheduled weekday shifts and participate in rotating call coverage
- BSN is not required
Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures
- Complete patient assessments, verify procedural readiness, and monitor patients throughout their care
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, efficient procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered while monitoring for complications or changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to Cardiac Cath Lab protocols
- Support post-procedure recovery, provide patient education, and communicate discharge instructions as appropriate
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the MEDITECH system
- Respond to scheduled and emergent call needs in accordance with unit expectations
