Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120–$2,230
- Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
- Assignment Type: 13-week Registered Nurse travel contract
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks, through February 13, 2027
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, generally 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; some evening coverage may be needed
- Openings: 2 positions
- Housing: Shared housing provided at no cost
Outpatient Clinic RN Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; ambulatory care or outpatient clinic experience is preferred
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively with medical providers and an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Successful completion of required onboarding, credentialing, and clinical competency processes
Outpatient Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide patient- and family-centered nursing care in an ambulatory outpatient clinic environment
- Work alongside medical providers to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
- Support daily clinic operations and help promote efficient patient flow
- Perform nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and communicate relevant findings to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, medications, and follow-up needs
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and healthcare professionals to maintain safe, compassionate, and effective care delivery
