About the Role

This position sits within a Neuroscience Institute, supporting a pipeline of upcoming stroke and device clinical trials. You’ll play a key role in bridging research and clinical care—working closely with ED, stroke unit, and Neuro ICU teams to identify and guide eligible patients into trials.

This is a research-focused RN role with some clinical components—ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of coordination, critical thinking, and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support clinical trial execution from start to finish
  • Assist with IRB submissions, protocol development, and informed consent processes
  • Identify, screen, and recruit eligible patients
  • Perform clinical assessments and support medication administration as needed
  • Ensure all study documentation meets regulatory (IRB/FDA) compliance
  • Collaborate with research coordinators, administrators, and nurse leaders
  • Educate frontline nursing teams on active trials and eligibility criteria

 Requirements
  • BSN required, MSN preferred
  • 4–5 years of clinical research experience
  • Experience in an academic medical center strongly preferred
  • Active NJ RN license
  • CRC/CRCC certification preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
