- Schedule: Variable call schedule; every other weekend and holidays in rotation
- Setting: Cardiovascular surgery operating room with complex surgical support
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current RN credentials
- Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience required
- Main OR experience and willingness to float to the main operating room
- Strong experience with CABG and valve replacement procedures
- Thoracic surgery and vascular surgery experience preferred
- Scrub experience preferred for perioperative support
- Meditech experience preferred
- Flexible, team-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a busy surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled circulating RN support in the cardiovascular operating room
- Assist with high-acuity cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures
- Support CABG and valve replacement cases with a focus on safe, efficient patient care
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists throughout the perioperative workflow
- Float to the main OR as needed to support patient care and operational needs
- Contribute to a positive, flexible, and team-centered unit culture
