Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Emergency Department or trauma nursing experience required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency room or trauma center
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
- Willingness to rotate every other weekend and every other holiday
- Current clinical compliance and onboarding documentation as required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and trauma-related needs
- Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver timely, high-quality care
- Administer medications, monitor treatments, and document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Support efficient patient flow in a busy Emergency Department environment
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and calm under pressure in critical situations
