Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience required
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required at the time of application
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Professional appearance with clean scrubs in any color
Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency nursing care for patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and carry out physician orders accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient flow and timely treatment in the Emergency Department
- Respond effectively to high-acuity, critical care, and trauma situations while maintaining patient safety
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the medical record
- Deliver compassionate patient and family education throughout the course of care
