Job Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active California medical license required
- DEA registration required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
- Experience with general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
- Strong clinical skills in ventilation management and acute volume and blood pressure management
- Clean malpractice and NPDB history preferred for urgent locum tenens coverage dates
Responsibilities
- Provide general anesthesia services for outpatient surgical cases
- Perform preoperative patient evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
- Monitor and manage ventilation, circulation, and hemodynamic status during procedures
- Support efficient workflows for less critical cases in a clinic-based setting
- Collaborate closely with the care team to help ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication throughout coverage
