Job Requirements

  • Active New Mexico CRNA license required
  • Board certified with at least 1 year of CRNA experience
  • Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
  • Must be comfortable practicing independently in a locum tenens anesthesia role
  • Experience performing regional blocks required; case logs must be provided
  • Ability to manage adult and pediatric anesthesia cases
  • Experience with spinal and epidural anesthesia required
  • Strong skills in ventilation management and acute volume/BP management
  • Must be willing to take call and work weekends
  • Must be able to provide complete credentialing documentation prior to start

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases
  • Provide general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia as clinically appropriate
  • Support complex orthopedic, neurosurgical, OB, pediatric, and vascular procedures
  • Perform independent assessments and manage perioperative anesthesia needs
  • Respond to call coverage and weekend coverage as scheduled
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
  • Adapt quickly to a busy surgical environment while delivering excellent patient care
