- Position Type: Locum tenens CRNA job
- Location: Roanoke, Virginia
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,400–$7,800
- Schedule: Day shifts with 8-hour and 10-hour options
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks with potential to extend
- Facility Type: Level I trauma hospital
- Documentation System: Epic EMR
- Clinical Focus: No cardiac and no OB cases
CRNA Job Requirements
- Board certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Virginia CRNA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience in an anesthesia or acute care setting
- Strong clinical skills in a high-acuity anesthesia environment
- Comfort using Epic and working within established hospital workflows
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a varied surgical case mix
- Support procedures in neuro, orthopedics, trauma, general surgery, GYN, endoscopy, and pediatrics
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia colleagues, and perioperative staff
- Maintain consistent clinical coverage and contribute to continuity of care
- Complete required credentialing and facility-specific skills documentation
- Deliver patient-centered care while working efficiently in a busy acute care setting
