- Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Employment Type: Locum tenens anesthesia job
- Location: San Antonio, TX 78217
- Start Date: ASAP after credentialing
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 2x12-hour shifts plus 2x10-hour shifts
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,940 - $6,260
- Case Mix: Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, GI, and GYN
- EMR: Cerner
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Active Texas CRNA license required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to practice under medical direction
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing a broad surgical case mix
- Ability to complete credentialing requirements in a timely manner
- Malpractice history must be disclosed accurately during the submission process
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases
- Collaborate with the anesthesia and surgical teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop anesthesia plans
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
- Respond to intraoperative changes with sound clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a high-performing clinical setting
