  • Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $4,340 – $4,650 (competitive locum tenens pay)
  • Patient Encounters: ~16 per shift
  • Department Capacity: 16 beds / outpatient treatment chairs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington OR participation in the IMLC (WA or IMLC)
  • Board Certification as an NP required (Adult-Gerontology or Family NP with oncology focus)
  • Valid DEA license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical hematology/oncology experience in an outpatient or ambulatory setting
  • Cellular Therapy experience preferred (a plus)
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) — familiarity with Epic preferred
  • Current CV/resume required for submission

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care to hematology and oncology patients, including assessment and symptom management
  • Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and monitor treatment response
  • Prescribe and manage cancer therapies and supportive medications in accordance with clinic protocols
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, side effect management, and follow-up care
  • Document patient encounters, orders, and care plans accurately and timely in the EMR
  • Support a positive, team-based outpatient clinic environment and participate in quality improvement efforts
