Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Contract – Mansfield, Louisiana
Based in Mansfield, Louisiana (ZIP code 71052), this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-centered home health setting. Care for patients in Mansfield and nearby communities including Stonewall, Frierson, Keatchie, Logansport, Grand Cane, Coushatta, and Campti while providing compassionate, field-based nursing care. This 10-week travel contract features a consistent weekday schedule.
Home Health RN Job Details
- Location: Mansfield, Louisiana, with home health visits across nearby communities including Stonewall, Frierson, Keatchie, Logansport, Grand Cane, Coushatta, and Campti
- Healthcare Setting: Home health and community-based patient care
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120–$2,230
- Schedule: 40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts, typically 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Call Requirement: Call rotation, including approximately one week per month
- Travel Contract Duration: 10 weeks, November 2, 2026–January 8, 2027
- Productivity: 30 points per week
- Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits, from the first visit to the last
Home Health Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Louisiana
- At least 1 year of RN experience; home health nursing experience is valuable
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and independent time-management skills for field-based nursing care
- HCHB point-of-care experience preferred
Home Health RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the assigned service area
- Assess patient needs and communicate changes in condition to appropriate members of the healthcare team
- Document home visits, assessments, and care provided accurately using required clinical systems
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up to support safe, consistent home health services
- Participate in the call rotation and meet the expected weekly productivity target
