Home Health Registered Nurse (Travel RN Contract) – Melbourne, Florida
Seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Melbourne, Florida. Provide skilled in-home nursing care across the Space Coast, including Vero Beach, Sebastian, and Fellsmere.
Home Health RN Job Details
- Location: Melbourne, Florida; patient visits throughout Vero Beach, Sebastian, and Fellsmere
- Assignment: 13-week travel nursing contract, November 9, 2026–February 8, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120–$2,230
- On-call and weekend requirements: None
- Productivity expectation: 30 points
- Travel between visits: Mileage reimbursement provided between patient visits
Home Health Registered Nurse Requirements
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to practice in Florida
- At least 1 year of nursing experience; prior home health nursing experience is required
- Experience completing OASIS assessments, including Start of Care (SOC), Resumption of Care (ROC), and recertification
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate degree in nursing
Home Health RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across the assigned Florida Space Coast service areas.
- Complete accurate OASIS documentation for Start of Care, Resumption of Care, and recertification visits.
- Use Homecare Homebase to document home health visits and coordinate patient care.
- Assess patient needs, monitor changes in condition, and support continuity of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Manage patient visit schedules and meet the assignment’s productivity expectations.
