Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment | Tukwila, WA (Seattle Area)

Hospice RN travel job in Tukwila, WA — 13-week contract providing home hospice and palliative care across Bellevue, Redmond, North Bend, and Carnation. Join a compassionate hospice team delivering end-of-life care and support in the Seattle-area.

Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580 (competitive travel nurse pay)
  • Location: Tukwila, WA (zip 98168) — serving North Bend, Carnation, Bellevue, and Redmond; Seattle-area hospice nursing job
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
  • Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (one weekend per month)
  • Hours per Week: 40

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent hospice or palliative care experience (home hospice RN experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) documentation system
  • Strong communication, family-centered education, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with a multidisciplinary hospice team

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate home hospice and end-of-life care to patients across the assigned Tukwila/Seattle-area territory
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver skilled nursing interventions
  • Manage symptoms and provide palliative care education to patients and families about end-of-life care and available resources
  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic hospice care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using HCHB to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in scheduled weekend coverage (one weekend per month) as part of travel assignment responsibilities
