Hospital Accountant Job Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Proven experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger support
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
- Experience using accounting software, including Infor, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and dedication to quality work
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner
- Support day-to-day accounting operations within a hospital and healthcare environment
- Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of accounting data
- Apply accounting principles and internal processes to routine and complex financial tasks
- Utilize accounting systems and Excel to analyze, track, and report financial information
- Collaborate with internal teams during onsite workdays and manage responsibilities independently in a hybrid setting
- Assist with ongoing financial projects, month-end close support, and operational accounting needs as assigned
