Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a hospital or similar healthcare setting
• Ability and commitment to work overnight 12-hour shifts (night shift CNA)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining patient safety
• BLS certification preferred but not required (state-specific requirements may apply)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff (hospital CNA duties)
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting
• Monitor and promptly report changes in patient condition to nurses and clinical team
• Perform routine tasks including vital signs, patient hygiene, repositioning, and safe transfers
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Accurately document care provided and maintain patient records per hospital policies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support high-quality patient outcomes
