CNA Job Details
- Location: Spring Grove, Minnesota
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $990–$1,060, based on available estimates
- Position Type: Per diem travel assignment
- Healthcare Setting: 43-bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Assignment Duration: Approximately 10 weeks, through December 27, 2026
- Shift: 8-hour evening shift, with variable 8- and 12-hour shifts as needed
- Schedule: Per diem; weekend and holiday coverage as needed
- Guaranteed Hours: 0 hours per week; per diem scheduling
- Call Requirements: No on-call or callback requirement
- Orientation: 8 hours, non-billable
Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements
- Active Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or registry status
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of CNA experience, including at least 1 year in long-term care
- Required education: CNA certificate or associate degree
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Matrix charting experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Professional, resilient, dependable, and compassionate approach to resident care
- Willingness to wear work-appropriate solid colors or prints
CNA Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care and assistance to long-term care residents
- Support residents with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, comfort, and safety
- Observe residents and promptly communicate changes in condition to the nursing team
- Complete accurate documentation and charting in accordance with facility standards
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare team members across day, evening, and night operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents
- Adapt to variable scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays when required
