CT Technologist Job Details

• Duration: 26-week contract
• Setting: Hospital – CT Scan Unit
• Shifts: Rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights)
• Shift Times: 6:30am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:30pm, 7:00pm–3:30am
• Shift Duration: 8 hours per shift
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1830 - $1970

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute, clinical radiology experience required
• Current and valid California CT Technologist license
• ARRT (CT) Certification required
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• California Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and imaging protocols
• Proficient computer and PACS skills
• Experience with mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures
• Process and transmit images to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during all procedures
• Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, as required
