CT Technologist Job Details

- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience performing CT scans and X-ray examinations
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT Registry credentials appropriate for radiologic technology and CT practice
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and adapt to changing or emergency situations
- Strong communication skills when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Ability to safely lift and move patients and maneuver imaging equipment weighing 20 pounds or more, with or without assistance
- Commitment to patient privacy, safety, diagnostic accuracy, and high-quality imaging services
CT and X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols and radiology safety standards
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate technical factors
- Evaluate images for proper exposure, positioning, and diagnostic quality
- Prepare patients for CT and radiographic examinations, explain procedures, and provide clear instructions regarding exam preparation
- Schedule examinations and coordinate daily imaging activities efficiently
- Set up, organize, and maintain imaging rooms and equipment for CT and radiographic procedures
- Provide attentive, respectful patient care while responding appropriately to individual needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, visitors, and colleagues
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and follow applicable healthcare safety and quality standards
- Adapt to changing conditions, support emergency imaging needs, and make appropriate independent clinical decisions
