Join an acute-care hospital imaging team as a CT Technologist in Martinsburg, WV. Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200–$2,360
- Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
- Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital radiology department
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 8, 2027
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Alternating Monday–Wednesday and Wednesday–Friday rotations, with shifts scheduled approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m., or 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
- Additional Coverage: Call and holiday coverage may be required, with possible weekend coverage based on staffing needs
- Charting and Imaging Technology: EPIC, Canon/Toshiba CT equipment, and Fuji Synaps
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- Current ARRT certification with CT verification
- Current West Virginia CT Technologist license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Proficiency starting IVs
- Ability to perform CT examinations for adult and pediatric patients
- Experience with EPIC and CT imaging systems preferred
- Black scrubs required
- Radiation badge required for the assignment
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations for adult and pediatric patients across inpatient and outpatient areas
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, verify safety screening, and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process
- Start IVs and administer contrast according to established protocols and applicable standards
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while producing high-quality diagnostic images
- Review images for technical quality and communicate pertinent findings or concerns to the appropriate clinical team
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC
- Follow radiation safety practices, infection-control standards, and hospital policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals to support timely patient care
- Participate in assigned call, holiday, and occasional weekend coverage as department needs require
