Travel Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer — 16?week contract in Baltimore, MD (21201). Provide advanced cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography services to adult and geriatric patients at a leading hospital while experiencing Baltimore's vibrant downtown.

- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Start Date: April 27, 2026
- Shift: 4 x 10?hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970 – $2,120 (competitive travel pay)
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every third weekend and holidays as scheduled
- Floating: Required within specialty and to mobile/bedside echo units
- On-call: No pre-scheduled on-call shifts
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients (inpatient and outpatient)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer experience (first-time travel sonographers accepted with strong clinical background)
- Active MD state license or Compact State license at time of submission
- Required certifications: ARDMS RDCS (or equivalent), CCI, and current BLS (AHA)
- Experience performing transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), stress echocardiography, Doppler, 2?D/3?D and M?Mode studies
- Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems preferred (e.g., iE33, EPIQ)
- Familiarity with EPIC and ISCV documentation systems preferred
- Ability to float to different units and perform mobile/bedside echo exams as needed
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Must provide two satisfactory professional references (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN)
- Permanent residence must be 50+ miles from the facility (travel assignment requirement)
Responsibilities / Clinical Duties
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography including 2?D, 3?D, M?Mode, Doppler, stress echo, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Provide high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams for adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Document findings accurately in EPIC/ISCV and communicate results to the interdisciplinary care team
- Operate and maintain Philips ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality and proper study protocols
- Float to various hospital units and perform bedside/mobile echo exams as required by patient needs
- Adhere to infection control, isolation precautions, and hospital safety policies
- Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as assigned
