• Position: Travel Medical Assistant / Hospital Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Location: Brockton, MA 02301 — Greater Boston area (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital – Primary Care Practice (Whitman Primary Care)
• Department: Nursing / Clinical Support
• Shifts: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (no weekends, holidays, or on-call)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks (potential to extend)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $770 – $820
• Openings: 4 travel Medical Assistant positions

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or hospital setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred (experience with electronic medical records)
• Strong skills in rooming patients, performing EKGs, and taking vital signs
• Excellent communication, organization, and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits in a busy primary care/hospital environment
• Perform EKGs, obtain and accurately document vital signs
• Document patient information and clinical workflows in Epic EMR
• Support providers and nursing staff with clinical procedures and patient care tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming exam room and clinic area
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality patient care in a diverse community
