- Location: Doylestown, PA (18901) — Hospital mammography position in Bucks County, Pennsylvania
- Setting: Hospital radiology / breast imaging department
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: June 9, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:30am–6:00pm; Friday 8:30am–5:00pm
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Requirement: One weekend required during the contract
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Certified Mammography Technologist with current mammography certification
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a mammography tech in a clinical or hospital setting
- Current Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in mammography / breast imaging
- Ability to provide training documentation and a record of mammograms completed in the last 24 months
- Strong focus on patient safety, comfort, privacy, and effective communication
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammographic imaging in accordance with established protocols and quality assurance standards
- Operate digital mammography equipment, optimize image quality, and maintain accurate imaging records (PACS/EMR documentation)
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process, including patient positioning and education
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures performed and assist with QA/QA documentation for breast imaging services
- Collaborate with radiologists, breast surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care and support diagnostic workflows
- Stay current with continuing education, best practices in mammography, and regulatory requirements for mammography services
