- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
- Position: Travel MRI Technologist (Hospital: Inpatient, Outpatient, ER)
- Location: Randallstown, MD 21133 (Baltimore metro area) — Maryland MRI jobs
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks (4/27/2026 – 8/3/2026)
- Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- On-call / Weekend: Possible weekend help and call required
- Orientation: 16 hours (virtual modules on first day)

Job Requirements – MRI Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience in clinical settings (hospital outpatient/inpatient/ER preferred)
- Valid Maryland license or Compact state license at time of submission
- ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Proven experience with Cerner electronic charting/documentation
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and assist patients safely
- Experience with IV starts and contrast administration preferred
- First-time travel MRI technologists welcome
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Responsibilities – MRI Technologist / MRI Tech Duties
- Perform MRI exams across all ages: neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics using best practices in magnetic resonance imaging
- Conduct MRI scans primarily through the Emergency Department to support hospital admissions and acute care
- Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media per facility protocols
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment (e.g., Siemens systems, PACS) and follow safety protocols for MR environment
- Assist with image-guided procedures (biopsies) and collaborate with interventional teams when required
- Use advanced imaging techniques and protocols (T1/T2 weighting, diffusion, perfusion, spectroscopy) as directed
- Float within the hospital to support workload distribution, within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and communicate results with radiology and clinical teams
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
