- Shift: 8-hour days (8:30am – 5:00pm; schedule may vary)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Minimum 15–18 months recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care hospital or similar setting (hospital OT experience preferred)
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience with OneChart (Cerner) preferred — electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity a plus
Occupational Therapy Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services for acute care patients across units, including ICU, stroke/neurology, orthopedics, and general medical floors
- Evaluate functional status, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and progress patients toward discharge goals
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately using Cerner/One Chart
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic goals, home programs, adaptive equipment, and safety strategies
- Support a broad range of medical and surgical diagnoses with evidence-based OT interventions
