Required Qualifications

• Minimum 15–18 months recent acute care experience as an Occupational Therapist (acute care OT experience required)
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license (GA OT license)
• AHA BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Experience with Cerner (One Chart) preferred — clinical documentation experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to acute care patients per physician orders throughout the hospital
• Treat a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses including ICU, stroke/neurological cases, orthopedics, and general debility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, PT, SLP, physicians, case management) to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and discharge recommendations using Cerner (One Chart)
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as part of the travel therapist assignment
