• Location: Potosi, MO 63664 (Washington County) — Missouri occupational therapy job
• Role: Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel / Hospital-based Long Term Care (LTC) Rehab
• Employment Type: Travel assignment (13 weeks)
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM; consistent schedule coordinated with Director of Rehab)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: No call required
• Weekends: No weekends required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920-$2060/week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Missouri (required)
• Minimum 1 year of OT clinical experience preferred; experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or inpatient rehab settings required
• New graduates with Level II fieldwork experience are welcome to apply
• Strong skills in splinting, ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, and activity analysis
• Excellent clinical documentation skills and ability to develop individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for hospital and long-term care patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve functional independence, ADLs, mobility, and fine-motor coordination
• Design and fabricate splints per physician prescription and facility protocols
• Use therapeutic exercises and purposeful activities to address strength, ROM, coordination, and cognitive/perceptual needs
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records and clinical documentation in the EMR per facility and regulatory standards
• Supervise assistant/aide staff in accordance with governing board guidelines and facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (nursing, PT, SLP, Case Management, physicians) to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in discharge planning, outcome tracking, and patient/family education
