- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920–$2,060
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel physical therapy assignment
- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- End Date: February 28, 2027
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital rehabilitation and physical therapy
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Schedule: Weekdays only; no weekends or holidays
- Documentation System: Epic
Physical Therapist Job Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license eligible for practice in Iowa
- At least 1 year of professional Physical Therapist experience
- Previous hospital or acute-care rehabilitation experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Epic documentation experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
Physical Therapy Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and independence
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and home programs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the rehabilitation and care teams
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately in Epic
- Support a positive, patient-centered care experience throughout the rehabilitation process
