Physical Therapist Job Details

• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation – Acute Care Hospital
• Assignment Type: Travel Physical Therapist position
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: March 2, 2026 – End: May 30, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1920–$2060
• Number of Positions: 2 Physical Therapist openings

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (acute care experience preferred)
• High-acuity experience in ICU, Step-Down, or Cardiac units highly preferred
• Board Certification as a Specialist in acute care-related area is a plus
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care and treatment programs
• Deliver interventions and provide patient and family education
• Document interventions and ensure accurate billing for clinical support
• Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
• Participate in orientation of new staff and serve as a clinical instructor for students
• Exercise independent judgment in moderately complex cases with minimal supervision
