Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care, inpatient, or hospital setting (2 years preferred)
• Active Texas State Physical Therapy license
• Current BLS certification
• Therapy/Rehabilitation certification or relevant clinical credentials
• Ability to document patient progress and outcomes using Epic EMR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic charting system
• Previous travel PT experience or travel assignments in hospital settings
• Experience treating post-operative, neurological, and medically complex patients

• Applicants must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient physical therapy services in an acute care hospital setting
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations, including post-operative care and neurological rehabilitation
• Perform functional mobility training, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and safe discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and recovery strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and discharge plans accurately in Epic EMR
• Participate in orientation and complete required hospital modules and competencies onsite
