Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 – $2,790
  • Location: Saint Louis, MO 63104 (St. Louis, Missouri)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
  • Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Call Requirement: Average of 10 days per month, including weekends
  • Benefits: Scrubs provided; onsite parking at no fee
  • Setting: Hospital-based interventional radiology, outpatient and inpatient, adult ICU exposure

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or IR Technologist (radiology technologist jobs preferred)
  • Valid ARRT certification (Radiology)
  • BLS certification required
  • Epic charting / Epic EMR experience required
  • Experience working in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Adult ICU environments
  • Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, biopsies, stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy/nephogram, peripheral procedures, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdomen & pelvis, and upper/lower extremity procedures
  • Familiarity with pushable/detachable coils, microcatheters/wires, Snare Kits, and injector systems (ACIST preferred)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures: angioplasty, stent placement, biopsies, drainages, vascular and neuro studies, venous access, and other IR procedures
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment (GE, Siemens) and injector systems
  • Prepare patients, assist physicians during procedures, and monitor patient safety and sterile technique
  • Document procedures and patient care accurately using Epic charting and PACS
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff
  • Participate in call rotation (average 10 days/month, including weekends) and adhere to hospital safety and infection control protocols (including fit testing for respirator use)
