Join a dynamic outpatient radiation oncology team at the Harmony Campus in Fort Collins, Colorado (80528). As a Travel Radiation Therapist, you'll provide high-quality patient care, support opening a new department, and work with advanced treatment systems. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550 (competitive travel radiation therapist pay)
- Location: Fort Collins, CO 80528 (Colorado radiation therapist jobs)
- Setting: Outpatient Radiation Oncology Center
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, 5x8-hour (Mon–Fri; 9am–6pm or 11am–8pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-call / Weekend Coverage: Not required
- Scrub Color: Grey or Steel
- Equipment: Varis-Vision / ARIA charting; TrueBeam required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist (radiation therapy experience)
- ARRT (T) certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Proven TrueBeam experience
- Experience with Varis-Vision / ARIA electronic charting preferred
- Ability to float to a sister facility (approx. 11.7 miles)
- Comfortable working in a busy outpatient workflow; first-time travel therapists accepted with required experience
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) treatments to adult patients in an outpatient radiation oncology center
- Perform CT simulation and set up patients accurately for treatment planning
- Administer advanced treatment techniques including SRS and IMRT
- Assist with opening and orienting the new MCR department onsite
- Ensure strict radiation safety, proper PPE use, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Use Varis-Vision / ARIA systems for charting, scheduling, and workflow management
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain high standards for patient comfort, safety, and communication throughout treatment
