We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week local hospital assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
- High-volume trauma experience required
- Current RRT credential
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure or eligibility to practice as a respiratory therapist
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital respiratory care environment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and support trauma-related patient care needs
- Administer respiratory therapies and operate ventilators and related equipment according to physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document treatments, patient responses, and clinical observations accurately and promptly
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and quality care expectations
