• Position: Travel Respiratory Therapist / Travel RT (RRT)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00–07:00)
• Setting: NICU, PICU, CICU, Hospital — pediatric critical care, neonatal respiratory therapy
• Charting: Epic (Epic charting experience required)
• Equipment: Servo I ventilators experience required
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory ICU experience (pediatric and/or neonatal ICU preferred)
• National certifications required: BLS, PALS, CRT, RRT (CRT accepted at signing; RRT required once starting)
• NE state license (must apply within first 40 hours of signing; proof of application required)
• Experience with Servo I ventilators required — ventilator management (invasive & non-invasive)
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong cardiopulmonary assessment, airway management, and pediatric respiratory care skills
• First-time travelers accepted — travel RT jobs and temporary assignments welcomed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care for neonates, infants, adolescents, and young adults in NICU, PICU, CICU, and medical-surgical settings
• Manage ventilators (non-invasive and invasive), ventilator weaning, and advanced ventilator strategies
• Perform airway management (natural and artificial), suctioning, bronchial hygiene, and pulmonary hygiene therapies
• Deliver medical gas therapy, aerosol/humidity management, and respiratory medication administration
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and assist in high-risk deliveries as needed
• Provide patient and family education on asthma, trach care, and other pulmonary disease management
• Float within scope to meet facility needs (no floating to sister facilities)
