• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,010 - $2,160
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required between internal departments as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current Washington state respiratory therapist license in hand at time of submission
• Experience working independently in a Level III NICU
• Experience in a Level II regional trauma center is required
• Epic charting experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT, and RRT
• Strong neonatal critical care skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Ability to float between units and remain flexible with scheduling
• Must be available to work 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contract

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for neonates and other patient populations as assigned
• Support care in a Level III NICU with autonomy and confidence
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, intubation support, and neonatal airway management
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gases and provide ventilator management
• Deliver treatment for patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, and other respiratory interventions
• Respond to changing patient acuity and work effectively across multiple units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EHR system
