Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
  • Washington RRT license in hand at time of submission
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, and RRT
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Experience in NICU Level III or IV care is strongly required
  • Experience in a Level II or higher trauma environment preferred
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a high-acuity hospital setting
  • Must be willing to work every other weekend and commit to holiday coverage as assigned
  • Must provide 2 professional references covering the last 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care for neonatal and critically ill patients
  • Support NICU patients with ventilator management, airway support, and oxygen therapy
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation as needed
  • Perform and interpret ABGs and support diagnostic respiratory procedures
  • Provide care involving CPAP, BiPAP, HFNC, ventilator weaning, suctioning, and tracheostomy support
  • Respond to changing patient acuity and float internally between hospital departments when needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic)
