Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Speech Therapy license in the state of Georgia (active SLP license)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle for home health travel
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Ability to travel daily to patient homes and between multiple locations (home health & hospital)

Primary Responsibilities (Travel SLP / Home Health & Hospital)

  • Assess and evaluate patient needs related to speech, language, swallowing (dysphagia), communication, and cognitive-communication impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions to improve patient function and quality of life
  • Provide functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills during home visits and hospital care
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress; maintain timely clinical documentation and progress notes
  • Travel daily to patient homes and between assigned clinical facilities (home health caseload and hospital visits)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, nurses, physicians, and caregivers to ensure coordinated patient care
