Sonographer Job Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho (Zip: 83706) – Idaho healthcare jobs
• Setting: Hospital – Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit
• Assignment Duration: 9 weeks (Start: 2/8/2026 – End: 4/11/2026)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8 Hour Days)

Sonographer Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Hospital Sonographer or in maternal fetal medicine
• Current RDMS certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency credentials required)
• ARRT certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Sonographer Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for maternal fetal medicine patients, including OB/GYN and nuchal translucency scans
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and patient care
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols
• Document and communicate findings effectively within the electronic medical record system
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience
